IFOAM Organics Europe is the European umbrella organisation for organic food and farming. We represent organic in European policymaking and advocate for a transformation of food and farming. Our work is based on the principles of organic agriculture – health, ecology, fairness and care. With more than 200 members in 34 European countries, our work spans the entire organic food chain.
Role in the Project
With its wide range of member organisations all over Europe and its well-established contacts to EU policy makers, IFOAM Organics Europe is ideally suited to promote the project outcomes to all relevant stakeholders in the organic sector. It will ensure that information about the project reaches a high number of relevant actors (farmers, policy makers, NGOs and companies) in Europe. Information about the project and its results will be distributed through the IFOAM Organics Europe newsletter, website and IFOAM Organics Europe social media tools.
